Make Mats for the Homeless


St. Paul’s Anglican Church

New life for old bags! plastic bag blankets
Hosted on the last Tuesday of each month

Come for an evening to learn how to re-use plastic shopping bags! This workshop will show you how to use plastic shopping (grocery) bags to create sleeping mats for the homeless.
Participants will need to have a basic knowledge of crocheting. Please bring clean shopping bags, scissors, and jumbo 16mm – Q plastic crochet hooks.
Led by: John & Christine Wreszczak
*if you are able, a donation for non-perishable food for the RFDA is greatly appreciated*

Come to St. Michael & All Angels with the MFRC and the PWRDF for this session.

Discover how bees work, why bees are disappearing from our environment,
things we can do to help “Save the Bees” and learn important facts on how
bees are important to our environment.
