Welcome

Welcome to the website for Thunder Bay Anglicans!

I am happy to be part of this vibrant group of Christians in northwestern Ontario.

My hope is that you will find the information helpful and interesting.

The Deanery of Thunder Bay includes the Anglican parishes from Marathon on the east to Rosslyn Village and Murillo on the west. We are the western end of the Diocese of Algoma of the Anglican Church of Canada. The Diocese of Algoma is centered in Sault Ste. Marie where our Bishop The Rt. Revd. Dr. Stephen Andrews and our Cathedral, St. Luke’s, are located.

In this website, you will find a list of all the parishes and congregations in our Deanery with links to parish websites. You will also find information about the exciting things that are going on in the Deanery, as well as information about what it means to be an Anglican.

I encourage you to pay a visit to the Anglican churches in Thunder Bay and along the north shore of Lake Superior. You will find a warm and hospitable welcome!
May God bless you and your family as you explore your faith, and journey in the light of God.
