Full job description posted at www.stthomasanglican.org. Deadline : October 15th. Submit resume by email to Garry Barker, Rector’s Warden, St. Thomas Anglican Church, gbarker@tbaytel.net.

2. St. Paul’s invites you to a blessing of pets on St. Francis Day, Tuesday October 4 at 7pm. Veterinarian Dr. Paul Gerry will give a short talk on the bond between pets and their humans. There will be special treats for both pets and pet lovers.

3. From the Mission to Seafarers:

· Please drop in at the Mission to Seafarers Centre during our Open House 2 – 4 pm Sunday, October 2. The Centre is located at Keefer Terminal, 100 Main St., just follow the Harbour Expressway until you get to Keefer Terminal. We have been ministering to seafarers in the Port of Thunder Bay since 1962 and are celebrating our 50th anniversary.

· After a slow summer, the port is picking up with the fall harvest coming into the port. The Mission to Seafarers would appreciate donations of warm, small to large size men’s clothing. Many of the sailors on ocean-going vessels come from warmer countries and find our fall weather rather cold. Donations can be put in the drop off box outside the Seafarers’ Centre or given to the Mission to Seafarer Rep at each Anglican parish.

· If anyone is interested in volunteering, we are busy enough now to need help: people are needed to staff the Seafarers’ Centre and drive the van.

· For further information go to www.missiontoseafarers.ca/thunderbay or call 344-8241.
