1. St. Michael & All Angels parish will host a Celebration of New Ministry between our parish and our new Incumbent, Father Chris Harper, on Sunday January 6th at 4 pm. The Ven Deborah Kraft will be Officiating and Preaching. You are invited to come and celebrate as the people of St. Michael’s, along with Fr. Chris commit to a shared ministry at St. Michael’s. Clergy, Lay Readers and Choirs are invited to robe and process. The liturgical colour will be white. A pot luck will follow in the church hall. All Are Welcome.

Shhhh………

1. We’re doing it again! Joy to the World … the Lord is come! Last year, we did a Flash Mob of Joy to the World at Intercity. This year, we’re doing it at the airport ~ SHHHH . . . PLEASE KEEP THE SECRET! We need adults of all ages, and children of all ages to participate. You don’t have to be a great singer! We want your enthusiasm and your desire to bring the spirit of Christmas to others. We’re doing the Flash Mob mid-morning SAT DEC 22 at Thunder Bay Airport. There will be 3 REHEARSALS at St. Paul’s (and the rehearsals are important):

· MONDAY, DECEMBER 3 from 6:30 – 7:30 pm

· MONDAY, DECEMBER 10 from 6:30 – 7:30 pm

· MONDAY, DECEMBER 17 from 6:30 – 7:30 pm

Please join us this coming Monday at 6:30 pm upstairs in St. Paul’s. It’s going to be very fun! The more, the merrier! Let’s show the world how much we desire to be bearers of hope, peace, love, and JOY!

2. St. Michael and All Angels, 675 Red River Rd., will hold its Christmas Tea & Bazaar on Saturday, December 1 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Craft Table, Bake Table and Deli Table. Admission $5. Advance tickets available from the church office 767-4711.

3. St. Mark’s Dessert Tea and Bazaar will be held Saturday December 8 from 1:30 until 3:30 in St. Mary’s Fellowship Hall, St.Mark’s Church, Rosslyn Village. Tickets are $5.00. A bake table, dessert, books and a Granny’s Attic will be featured.

4. St. Thomas’ Men’s Group is hosting a movie night at St. Thomas’ Church, 1400 Edward St. S., on Thursday, Nov. 29 at 7 pm. All men are invited to come and view the movie “Courageous.”

5. At 7 pm on December 9, St. Paul’s Anglican Church will present a live reading of Charles Dicken’s A Christmas Carol, The reading will include a visit from Charles Dickens himself and will feature readers from the parish. In addition, the choir will perform several pieces of music related to the period or the subject matter. Refreshments will be served after the production and everyone is welcome. Admission is $5 and proceeds from the performance will go to the Christmas Cheer fund. Come join us for this Christmas classic. Please bring a non-perishable FOOD DONATION for CHRISTMAS CHEER.
