1. St. Stephen’s Famous Christmas Tea, Silent Auction, Bake Sale and Craft Table will be held at the Current River Recreation Centre, 450 Dewe Ave. November 16 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

2. St George’s Anglican Church (298 McIntyre Street) is hosting a Christmas Tea & Bazaar on Saturday November 24, , 2:00-4:00pm. Bake and Crafts Table. Admission Adults $5, Children under 8, $2

3. St. Michael and All Angels, 675 Red River Rd., will hold its Christmas Tea & Bazaar on Saturday, December 1 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Craft Table, Bake Table and Deli Table. Admission $5. Advance tickets available from the church office 767-4711.

4. A Dementia Care workshop will be presented by Cindy Backen, Psychogeriatric Resource Consultant for the Thunder Bay area at St John the Evangelist Anglican Church Thunder Bay, 228 Pearl Street on Saturday, November 24 from 10:00 to 12:00. The discussion will focus on how to provide care to someone living with progressive dementia. This is a timely topic, as we are all supporting someone with this type of need. Please call St. John’s office at 345-6898 by November 15 to confirm your attendance and leave your name and phone number. The Registration fee is $5 payable at the door. Refreshments will be served.

5. Thunder Bay – Northshore Deanery “Family Day” Sunday, 2-5 pm, November 25 at Gammondale Farm. Fun for all ages, bring your friends! Proceeds in support of Deanery Child & Youth Ministry through the ‘Joshua Jordan Memorial Fund.’ Only $10 per family includes Nativity Fun with Costumes & Real Animals, Corn Stalk Maze, Horse & Pony Rides, Hot Dogs, Chili, & Hot Chocolate, plus many fun games & activities for the whole family! 6. Parish of West Thunder Bay and 1st Thunder Scouts will hold a Spaghetti Supper on Sunday, November 25 from 4-6 P.M. at the Rosslyn Community Centre. Sit down or Takeout. Adults $8; 6-12 year olds $3; 5 & under $1. (Please bring your own container for takeout.)

7. The Mission to Seafarers in Thunder Bay is looking for donations for Christmas Gift Bags to be given to seafarers in December. Donations need to be at the Seafarers’ Centre by November 19.
