St. James Church, Murillo is holding their Annual Memorial Service on Sunday, June 1st at 11 a.m. to remember loved ones and friends resting in St. James Cemetery. Communion Service with The Rev. Canon Paul Carr. Music for the service by Emmanuel Country Gospel. Light lunch following the service. Come and Feel Our Country Warmth.

All Staff must have a clean Police Record Check in order to work at the camp.

Volunteers are needed each week during the summer, Please let us know if you might be interested in volunteering.

An opportunity to study the artistry and craftsmanship of fifteen stained glass windows at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 808 Ridgeway Street on June 18 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. St. Luke’s Stewardship Committee presents a Strawberry Social on Thursday, June 19 at 7 p.m. at St. Luke’s Church Parish Hall, 205 Cameron Street. Tickets $5.

blessingofthefleetYou are invited to participate in the Blessing of the Fleet on Saturday June 21 at the lookout on Pier 3 – the Royal Canadian Navy Pier, at Marina Park. At 10:30 a.m. the McGillivray Pipe Band will conduct a Tattoo and at 11:00 a service of Blessing is held with a parade of vessels passing the Lookout at approximately 11:15.

Vessels should be on the water by 10:45 a.m. and monitor VHF channel 16. The service of Blessing will be broadcast on Channel 71 at 11:00. For vessel instructions, and further information visit www.missiontoseafarers.ca/thunderbay or contact the Canon Ed Swayze 344-8241.
