1. St. James Anglican Church, John St. Rd. Murillo, will hold its Annual Memorial Service on Sunday, June 2, with a Holy Communion Service with the Rev. Nancy Ringham at 11 a.m. The St. James Family invites you to come and join us for this service. It will be a combined Parish Service with St. Mark’s church from Rosslyn, making it a celebration for the whole Parish Family. The new church ramp will be blessed for its great addition to the church. The musical group SideRoads is providing the music once again. Light Lunch will follow the service. This year is St. James’ 134″ Anniversary of ministry and service to the community. Come and Feel Our County Warmth.

2. CAMP GITCHIGOMEE PAID POSTIONS available! Cooks, Cook’s Helpers needed this summer beginning July 5th – July 28th. These are paid positions, and accommodations are provided. Waterfront Staff is also needed, beginning July 7 – 12, July 14 – 19, July 21 – 27. Job Descriptions / and pay are available upon request by calling 622-0020 (leave a message) email wolfe428@shaw.ca. Volunteer Staff are also still needed at some of the camps. All staff require a Police Record Check before helping at camp.

3. St. Mark’s Mom’s Sale will be held on Saturday, June 8 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Rosslyn Village. What to do with clothes your children have outgrown? Rent a table & get cash for these items! As well, it is a good chance to replenish your children’s wardrobe with “gently used” clothing from other Moms. Refreshments Available (Hot Dogs, Tea, Coffee, Pop, Etc.). Please use lower level entrance to the church. Contact Betty Sand at 939-2768 for more information and to reserve your table. Admission: $1; Rent a Table: $20.

4. St. Luke’s is seeking a Sunday School Teacher to provide a Christian education program for children ages three to eight, on the second, third, fourth and fifth Sundays during the months of September to June. The Teacher will serve under the guidance of the Sunday School Superintendent, for a duration of 3.5 hours each week, at a rate of pay of $10 per hour. Interested persons will need to have a mature faith journey, a love of children, a servant’s heart and experience with teaching Sunday School. This is the 3rd pilgrimage that Jouni and Deborah have led and they are very excited to return with you to the Holy Land.
