The Mission to Seafarers 12th Annual Fund-raising Dinner is being held Friday, April 7 at the Current River Community Centre – 450 Dewe Ave. Tickets $35.00 The guest speaker is the Rev’d Canon Andrew Wright, Secretary General of the Mission to Seafarers. This is one of the main fund-raisers for the Mission, so please come out and support this worthy cause. For tickets please see your MTS Congregational Representative. The ACW Spring Deanery 9:30 a.m. Thursday, March 23 at St. Thomas Anglican Church, 1400 Edward Street South. We will begin the meeting with the Holy Eucharist. Our guest speaker is the Reverend Nancy Ringham who will talk about the 2016 Canadian Lutheran-Anglican Youth Conference in Charlottetown and the 2018 Conference to held in Thunder Bay. You will also have the opportunity to speak to Christian couples at different stages in your married life. Workshop includes snacks, and a healthy Lunch, ends with a delicious, romantic candlelight dinner.
