July 11th, 20111. NuVision Team Zambia departed on Saturday July 2 for Kitwe Zambia, where they will be helping to finish a school for orphans, installing computers in a classroom, and providing various programs for teachers and students. Team members are Jeanette and Doug Ratz, Jean and TedArmstrong, Daphne and Moira Haggarty, Beverley Thompson, David Stephens, Tim Maio and Leader the Rev. Nancy Ringham. Making contact with the Anglican Church of Zambia is in the works as well as some tourist activity to Victoria Falls and South Luangwa National Park. Follow their activity at zambiaworkteam2011.blogspot.com and do keep them in your prayers! They return on July 27 and will be open for invitations to share their stories!
2. Children ages 5-12 are warmly invited to an exciting Wilderness Adventure Vacation Bible School, Mon. July 18th – Fri. July 22nd, 10:00 am -12:30 pm at St. George’s Anglican Church, 298 McIntyre Street, Thunder Bay. There will be Snacks, Games, Stories, Crafts and More! Trained, Screened, Staff, will oversee the fun. 5. Save the Day for the Bishop! Come and spend October 22, 2011 with Bishop Steven. A day with the Bishop will take place at St. Paul’s Anglican Church from 9:30 until 2:30. The topic for the day will be revealed in September!
