April 22nd, 20121. Help Wanted: The Anglican parish of St. Michael and All Angels requires a caretaker. 10 hours per week with additional hours as required. Duties include vacuuming, washing floors, dusting, regular maintenance of church facilities and some yard work. 2. You are invited to the Anglican Church Women’s Spring Deanery Meeting Tuesday, April 24 at 10 am St. Mary’s Church, Nipigon. Our Guest Speaker will be the Reverend Nancy Ringham. Lunch will be provided. A bus has been arranged. Pickups at 8 am at Northwood Plaza; 8:15 am at St. Michael and All Angels, 675 Red River Rd. and 8:20 at St. Stephen’s Leslie & Arundel. 4. Meet Me at the Soda Shop, St. Luke’s A.C.W. Spring Tea, will be held on Saturday, April 28 from 2 – 4 p.m. Tickets $5.00. Bake Table & White Elephant Table. Come out and Bring a Friend.
5. Parish of West Thunder Bay and 1st Murillo Beavers, Cubs and Scouts will hold a Spaghetti Supper on Sunday, April 29 from 4-6 p.m. at the Rosslyn Community Centre, Sit down or Take-out, $8 adults, $3 children. (Please bring your own container for take-out)
6. “ENHANCING RELATIONSHIPS”: Thunder Bay-North Shore Anglicans 2012 Annual Deanery Day will be held on Saturday May 5, 9:30 am – 2:30 pm at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 808 Ridgeway Street, across from McKellar (Wheelchair Accessible). Speakers: Bishop Stephen Andrews, Bishop of Algoma, and Bishop Lydia Mamakwa, Bishop of Keewatin, on “Enhancing Relations with First nations.” $10/person: includes Coffee/Tea, Muffins, and Lasagna Lunch. 8. Women at the Well Bible Study Group presents its 3rd 100 KM Women’s Breakfast on Saturday, May 12. 8:30am Prayer Service, 9:00am Breakfast. At St. Mark’s Anglican Church in Rosslyn. Guest Speaker: Yvonne Perrier of New Life Ministries Thunder Bay. Good Will Offering but you must have a ticket due to limited seating (first 60 women). All Local Food within “100km”.
