1. Please join us for the annual Current River Churches Good Friday procession, April 22. Meet at 1:15 p.m. at Elim Community Christian Centre, 360 Black Bay Road, and walk to St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, Current River Recreation Centre, Our Lady of Loretto Church, Claude Garton School, and Current River United Church. The procession is based on the way of the cross, and a portion of scripture and a prayer is read at each place. The community is invited to St. Stephen Anglican's Church for a Good Friday service at 2:30 p.m.
2. St. Michaels and All Angels Anglican Church, 675 Red River Road, invites you to a Bon Voyage Dinner in honour of Brianna Locke on Wednesday, April 27th at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $10, Children $5 (3 and under free). Spaghetti & Meatballs, Caesar Salad & Buns, Desserts, Tea & Coffee. Please come out and support Brianna in her journey towards her Ministry with the Anglican Church. Orders must be prepaid, cheques should be payable to the Mission to Seafarers. Orders must be placed by May 12 and they will be delivered on May 19. Then join us for Saving Jesus Redux, a 12-session DVD based study from Living the Questions, exploring what a credible Jesus looks like for the third millennium.
