Use this link to learn more about the candidates for Bishop.

Nominees were also asked to respond to any two of these questions in a video. Please take time to review the provided information and responses and watch the videos as we discern and elect the next Bishop of Algoma at the Electoral Synod, October 14, 2016.

This day-long workshop will expose participants to four things:

The religious and cultural backgrounds of the Bible’s New Testament;
The different genres of the New Testament;
The content of the New Testament; and
Some reading strategies for approaching the study of the New Testament.

As a result, participants should leave the workshop as more effective, proficient and faithful readers of the New Testament.
