Organist & Choir Director – Permanent, Part-time

We are seeking an organist & choir director to participate in the creation of worship. As a co-creator of worship the organist-choir director works with the rector to enhance the ministry of music within the congregation.

This part-time position includes a weekly choir rehearsal, Sunday morning services, other special services such as funerals, weddings, and other time commitments as required for meetings, planning, et cetera.

Church Office Administrator – Temporary, Part-time

We are seeking a temporary, part-time Church Office Administrator. This position requires a responsible person who is a self-starter, organized and has good communication skills. Regular working hours are Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Advanced computer skills are essential, especially in the following: Microsoft Office 2007 or newer, Word, Publisher and Power Point. Administrative duties include: weekly bulletin preparation, responding to phone calls, producing regular schedules and rosters for various church groups, general filing and updating/maintaining parish lists as well as a periodic newsletter.

News from the Anglican and Lutheran Group (ALG)

On Friday, February 1st, we will be holding our annual Variety Showcase to fundraise for our bursary and poverty initiatives. This will take place at Hilldale Lutheran Church, 321 Hilldale Road starting at 7:00 pm. This year’s performers will be one of Hilldale Church Music groups, Joanne Krasniuk, Silver Sound Choir and King’s Hwy.
